Board of Trustees functions
The Board of Trustees is the main body in the decision-making process and is the body responsible for defining the general policy of the center. The Board of Trustees is made up of representatives of Member States. Each member of the Board of Trustees has one vote in the Council’s business. Countries, international organizations and support agencies that have cooperation agreements with the center can also attend the meetings as an observer.
- Define the center’s policy and approve plans and programs.
- Discussing and approving the annual budget of the center.
- Approving the center’s balance sheet and the auditor’s report.
- Approving the Center’s regulations and amendments
- Evaluating the work of the center and issuing the necessary directions regarding it.
- Election of the President and Vice-Presidents.
- The appointment of the Center’s Director General and his deputy.
