I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Regional Center for Teaching Space Science and Technology for West Asia, as this website was created to serve you and meet your aspirations for cooperation in the fields of space science and technology. Today, the center begins a new stage of launching in partnership with the Royal Jordanian Geographical Center, which throughout its entire career has been a resource for effective energies and competencies, for nearly fifty years, and its ability to provide the material, human and infrastructure capabilities necessary for the regional center to carry out its training and educational tasks and achieve its vision in the field of teaching Space science and technology within the paths identified by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, which include remote sensing and geographic information systems, space meteorology, space communications, satellite navigation systems, and space law. Since the regional center currently constitutes the broadest umbrella for cooperation between Arab countries in teaching space science and technology, as its membership includes many of these Arab countries represented in the center’s board of trustees, we will seek in the next stage to include all Arab countries in its membership, and to provide seats for study and training For those wishing from all Arab countries, and in a way that enhances Arab cooperation and solidarity in creating and disseminating knowledge in space science and technology, I invite students and interested people from the West Asia region to actively participate in the courses that the center will hold in its halls and laboratories, as well as share their opinions and needs of courses within the scope of the center’s work, so that we Putting it in our programs in the next stage.
