On  Sunday 17/7/2022, the training season for this year was opened with a training course entitled “The Basics of Space Science and Technology,” which lasts for two weeks, with 40 training hours, and includes multiple and basic topics in the study of space science and technology; A general introduction to space sciences and their applications, celestial coordinate systems, satellite motion and orbits, the importance of electromagnetic radiation in space communications and remote sensing, as well as various topics in atmospheric sciences and space weather.
This course is one of five training courses offered by the Regional Center for Teaching Space Science and Technology in various fields, the most important of which are: global navigation systems via satellite, communications via satellite, meteorology and global climate via satellite, and space and atmospheric sciences.
