The Regional Center for Space Science and Astronomy for Western Asia, in cooperation with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, hosted the scientific workshop on “Space Exploration and Innovation” in the period from 25-28 March 2019, in the building of the Regional Center for Space Science and Astronomy in the Jordanian capital, Amman .
The organizers brought together scientists, engineers, teachers, policy makers and local, regional and global experts to discuss and develop thinking about the global partnership in space exploration and innovation. The workshop included elements of strategy and capacity-building and aimed to benefit from the efforts of entities that are already cooperating in space exploration and innovation.
