The second training course was inaugurated at the Regional Center for Teaching Space Science and Technology / the Royal Jordanian Geographical Center – Amman / Jubaiha, under the title Basics of Space Science and Technology, which began on Sunday morning 7/8/2022 and will last for two weeks, with a duration of 40 training hours. This course was dedicated to a group of valiant Jordanian Armed Forces officers, who in turn praised the holding of many such courses and the role played by the regional center in spreading scientific knowledge in space science and technology. They expressed their enthusiasm to learn more about astronomy and space technology and its applications in all areas of modern life. As well as in achieving the goals of the United Nations in sustainable development. It is worth noting that this course is one of five specialized courses in space sciences and space technology offered by the Regional Center, such as global navigation systems via satellites, communications via satellites, meteorology and global climate via satellites, and space and atmospheric sciences.

On behalf of his kindness, the Director General of the Regional Center and the Royal Jordanian Geographical Center, Colonel Muammar Haddadin, the Deputy Director General opened this session, initiating a talk about the importance of holding such courses and the pioneering role that the Royal Jordanian Geographical Center plays in providing all means of support for the success of these courses. Training in the regional center highlights the importance of space science and technology in the progress of nations and providing all the necessary facilities in modern life.
