On Thursday, September 22, 2022, a graduation ceremony for a course entitled Basics of Space Science and Technology was held at the Royal Geographical Center, which was held by the Regional Center for Teaching Space Science and Technology for West Asia. Various scientific and engineering disciplines from the University of Jordan and Al-Balqa Applied University,

This course included the main themes of the regional center. This session included an extensive scientific presentation on the principles of the atmosphere and climate change, as well as the presentation of some United Nations conventions on climate change, as well as the interaction of matter with radiation, with a focus on the layers of the atmosphere, as well as the physics of the sun, including solar activity and the principles of Space weather and a study of the impact of space weather on space missions and satellites. A simulation of space weather was done, highlighting its importance, as well as a presentation of the science and technology of space probes, in addition to some important applications of satellites. More than 40 students from the University of Jordan and Al-Balqa Applied University participated in this course.
