A delegation of students from Al-Sablah schools and Kindergarten / 2 , headed by the Director of Personnel and Student Affairs, Dr. Rawan Abu Zanouneh, participated in the activities of the World Space Week 2022, entitled “Space and Sustainability”, which was organized by the Regional Center for Teaching Space Science and Technology / Royal Jordanian Geographical Center over the past two years. On the sidelines of the events, Dr. Rawan Abu Zanouneh met with the Director General of the Regional Center for Teaching Space Science and Technology / the Royal Jordanian Geographical Center, Colonel Engineer Muammar Haddadin and Dr. Qais Al-Omari, Director of the Training Department at the Center.
For his part, the Director General presented a summary of the center’s important and fundamental role in enhancing and supporting the information of students of all ages, especially the importance of space science and technology.
During the meeting, it was agreed to implement a program of reciprocal courses between the Center and Al-Sableh/2 schools, where these courses will be coordinated in cooperation between the Training Directorate of the Regional Center and the Personnel and Student Affairs Department in the Sabla Schools.
In the meeting, the need for coordination regarding the “you leader” initiative, which was founded and implemented by Dr. Rawan Abu Zanouna, was also discussed.
Which aims to develop and enhance students’ intellectual, administrative and technical abilities and skills. And through which success stories of several leaders in the community are presented and interviewed, with the aim of making them role models for students, and instilling the concept that nothing is impossible for the student to create his own success story.
